Important Notice on Potential Scammers Impersonating HashKey Capital and its Staff

It has come to our attention in that members of the public have been receiving messages on instant messaging platforms such as Telegram from scammers attempting to impersonate HashKey Capital as well as its officers and representatives, such as HashKey Capital’s CEO. Additionally, we have observed that scammers have also been creating fake social media profiles on social media platforms such as LinkedIn. We understand that some of these scammers aim to induce the recipient to transfer digital assets to them on the false basis of participating in ‘fundraising’. Examples of such scam messages and fake accounts:



Each business function of HashKey Capital, including Investor Relations and Fundraising is handled by a dedicated team of staff that will communicate exclusively through official channels. Neither the CEO nor any individual staff will, through unofficial channels, reach out to any parties, including investors, projects founders or community partners. Please exercise caution and only rely official announcements and channels of communication as legitimate sources of information.


Please remain vigilant and ignore any suspicious calls, emails or messages from persons attempting to impersonate HashKey Capital or any of its officers or staff. Please avoid transferring any digital assets or currencies or otherwise providing your personal information to any party that you are unable to verify the identity of. We take these incidents very seriously.
